Subject: Tables for 4/12 Student Demos

Good Morning!

You are receiving this message because your team indicated the need for 2 tables at the Robot Block Party.  I regret to inform you that due to a fully packed day and very limited space we are only able to provide one table for your team.  I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  But on the bright side, there will be kids with robots everywhere!  I hope that you are still able to join us!  Please let me know if there is an issue with this update and thank you for understanding.

Best,
Mandy

Subject: Update on Parking for Robot Block Party

Good Afternoon!

I have great news!  Due to some recent adjustments in our program plans, we are now able to provide each team with up to 8 parking vouchers rather than 1 parking voucher (as indicated on the original info sheet).  Please inform your team members that parking will now be provided for up to 8 cars.  Some of you indicated that you were expecting a large number of cars – we find that generally the day-of numbers are almost always lower than predicted.  But if you anticipate needing more than 8 vouchers to accommodate all team members, please contact me by end of day on the Thursday preceding your visit.

Thank you!

Best,
Mandy

Subject: Schedule Update

Good Afternoon Robotics Teams!

I have a brief update regarding arrival time – teams should plan to arrive at MSI between 8:00am and 9:00am (rather than 7:30am-8:30am).  Based on the complexity of your set-up, please plan to arrive in that time frame.  The Museum opens at 9:30am and teams should be ready to go at 10:00am.

I would like to advise that teams park on either of the lower levels on the Museum’s parking garage to avoid additional elevator trips.  The lower levels of the garage are GREEN and BROWN.  From these levels, there is no need to take an elevator or stairs to Main Entry Hall.  Also, any teams that have carts please bring them!  We will have several carts on hand for teams that need them.

Last weekend was super fun and coaches/students had a blast!  Let me know if you have any questions before this weekend.

Best,
Mandy
